Charleston is getting a wealth of Italian treats over the next couple of weeks. Obviously, there’s Spoleto, but Indaco’s getting in on the action too with a special dinner with Sicilian Chef Fabrizia Lanza to kick off the arts fest. The four-course dinner will be a collaboration between Lanza and Chef Micahel Perez and will also feature wine from Tasca d’Almertia. The menu will include panelle, seasonal vegetable-stuffed ravioli, stewed rabbit, seasonal garden greens, and biancomangiare paired with Regalealis Biano, Leone, Lamuri, and Diamante wines. Lanza is the author of Olive, A Global History and the cookbook Coming Home to Sicily. Her latest project is a Kickstarter-funded feature-length film that seeks to capture the slow food traditions of her home.
