I just ate at Taste of Thai with my wife, brother, and sister-in-law. I ordered the masaman curry with chicken which I was enjoying until I noticed that the chicken was raw. I'm 33 years old and I've never sent a dish back at a restaurant. I'm not the kind of person that complains at restaurants becuase I know how hard those people work and I understand that mistakes happen. However, I was pretty disgusted at what I had just eaten and couldn't just let it go. I showed the waitress the raw chicken and she took my plate back to the kitchen. When she returned, she offered me a free dessert and a 10% discount on the bill. I told her that I wasn't going to pay for my meal and that if she couldn't remove my entree from the bill that I'd need to speak with a manager. She returned a few times with offers that weren't acceptable to me and then finally said that the manager had agreed to remove the item from my bill. The waitress was apologetic but I was very surprised that the manager didn't come out to apologize. I will not return to this restaurant and I'd advise that you be careful if you eat there. I was a cook for 7 years and I can tell you that this mistake was not made by someone that you want handling your food.
