Re: “Sherlock Holmes purists will be disappointed in The Final Adventure

And why is my post different from any of theirs? If theirs are forcing an agenda, so is mine. So how are theirs an agenda? They may have done the exact same thing I did. Just because this was the first article they felt the need to comment on, creating an account to do so by no means makes their comments an agenda.

Re: “Sherlock Holmes purists will be disappointed in The Final Adventure

My boyfriend and I drove from Virginia to see the play, and were definitely not disappointed. First of all, criticizing Sherlock for being too attractive is one of the stupidest complaints I've ever heard. And wholesome? I was under the impression that this was supposed to be family friendly (there were several children in the audience the night I went), so it's a good thing he was wholesome! I thought Watson was phenomenal, even with a few fumbled lines. He looked the part and played the part perfectly. Irene looked wonderful, and was playing a diva so it makes sense for her to speak more loudly than the others. Moriarty may not have been quite what we're used to, but I enjoyed the adaptation. And how about all the characters you didn't pick on? The King of Bohemia was just right - larger than life and fun. Madge and Larabee had fantastic sibling rivalry. And Sid Prince was my favorite character (and I liked all of them!)! And lastly, like guinifyr said, the romance was meant to be awkward. Meaning they did a good job with their acting. So if you really think the play itself is so terrible, perhaps you shouldn't be the one criticizing this performance of it.
Oh, and to mat catastrophe, of course I just created this. I'm not from Charleston, and had never heard about this paper until I heard about this review. So I looked it up, read it, and was pissed, and therefore created an account to say what I thought. How is that an agenda? Please explain.
