Re: “How humble Summerville became a Mecca of punk, metal, and hardcore in the early '00s

'All Books' was an absolute mind-blower, I couldn't believe the owners let it happen. I caught the very tail end of it, but the little dose I got opened up so much. Many friendships came from it and a most important moment hanging out with Andrew Barranca in the parking lot after a 'Puke Attack' performance and talking about making a film together.

Thanks to all involved!

Re: “Carl Janes travels the country looking for 'shroom-worthy artwork

Jeez… litebriteisdead2, just found your comment.

My lite-brite works were original works that I did because they were fun. I had the idea to screw a bunch of them together while I was doodling on an etch-a-sketch. I did 3 pieces and then I was done with them years ago. I didn't know anything about Lori Kanary, but have since seen several people's explorations in lite-brite as a medium, the piece you cite perhaps being the least inspired. By the way, just because someone has used a medium for art doesn't mean the medium can't continue to be explored… like paint for example.

Bon Voyage Scott! The Kulture Klash's were an incredible platform and doorway for me and I miss them. Have fun layin down the law in Texas...

Re: “Graham Whorley gets amped on new album

Way to go Graham, it was great catching you at Loggerhead's that night. A total treat for a semi-estranged Folly-ite...

Seeing that show took me back and made me feel that all is still well amidst so much change,
