Movies in Marion Square: Guardians of The Galaxy

It’s that time of year again, where doing fun stuff outside is still actually fun (here’s looking at you unbearably hot summer). Kick off City Paper’s Movies in Marion Square with a free viewing of Guardians of the Galaxy. Rolling Stone calls the movie “an exhilarating blast of fun-fun-fun.” The film follows intergalactic criminals tame enough for kids, with the eye candy of Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana keeping adults happy too. But that’s not all! There will be live music, food trucks, and beer and wine for sale. Food will be provided by Kickin’ Chicken, Cory’s Grilled Cheese, D’Allesandro’s Pizza, Roti Rolls, The Cinebarre Food Truck, and King of Pops. Truly, fun for the whole family. The shindig kicks off at 6 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk. Just like other Marion Square events, pooches are allowed if leashed. There will be three more movies in the square this season, so mark your calendars for springtime film viewings on April 24, May 1, and May 8.
