Re: “FEATURE ‌ The Scarborough Affair

The Scarborough Affair document surely explains why all of Dr. Ceips patients were not given the opportunity to say goodby and have closure over his death. I kept thinking why did Mrs. Ceips have his funeral in three days after his death. I wasn't aware of my beloved doctor's passing until a week after. Does anyone know how tramatic it was for a senior citizen, as myself, to be told by his office staff that he had passed? If I didn't have an office visit that devastaing Friday on August 4th, I would have been able to handle the news in a different manner. Mrs. Ceips, I'm still hurting. However, I truly believe your husband said his goodbye to me. The eye he operated on in May, hurt so badly on Sunday, July 30th, I had to leave church. That eye had never borthered me after the surgery nor since that Sunday. My doctor was buried on that day. I MISS YOU RICHARD CEIPS.
