Re: “Market Street carriage accident spooks horse

Why doesn't someone ask one of the 'PETA' advocates just exactly what they would do with the horses..... Do any of them know what it takes to keep a draft horse fit and sound?? Do they know how much or little feed to give, how much hay, what exercise is needed or the temperatures that are safe. I think not...

Where would they have these horses go if not owned by the carriage business'?

Perhaps they didn't want the general public to know that even the Clydesdale was close to extinction a few short years ago, but with carriage business there is still a reason to breed them and keep them. Do you really want to see horses only in a zoo???? But wait.. They don't like them either. So besides publicity just what do the 'PETA' people want??? It sure isn't the welfare of the animal. All they seem to really do is stir up trouble. I have never once seen them offer a solution to what they deem is a problem. What they do is generate publicity for themselves in order to solicit donations to support themselves. Bet no one can show me a 'PETA sanctuary, or where the PETA activists adopt the animals they are supposedly saving. NOOOOO because they don't do that. They just want to stir up problems get publicity and donations and then go to their next target without a care in the world because they are not anything more than a business CULT designed to prey on the misguided good intentions of those who have soft hearts and a need to feel like they are doing something in this world no matter how uninformed they are about the subject in question.

If some of them would devote just half the time to their kids, husbands, and family as I do for my horse the world would be in a lot better shape than it is now.

Here's an idea for the 'PETA' people, try something less than a hammer to start with, and remember about people who live in glass houses..
