Re: “DeMint stalls vote on lesbian latina

first of all, I am not by any means a racist. And the only thing that Sen. Jim DeMint is guilty of is standing behind what he beleives in and that I beleive is his own moral values. I do not want a person with values such as Marisa Demeo to have such power. First is her being a lobbyist and advocate for Hispanic causes, including work with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF). She's a member of the gay nonprofit Human Rights Campaign and GAYLAW, a group of gay Washington lawyers. Myself being a straight Male, feel the person should not be gay or lesbian. I think that a straight person would be more open minded on gay or lesbian issues than a person that is gay or lesbian. And her being involved with a organization such as (MALDEF) and GAYLAW. You have to admit she has been a D.C. magistrate judge, handling traffic and misdemeanor violations. But that position does not give her the power that she would have being on the D.C. Superior Court.

Re: “Heavy Metal or Hate?

Who is this Idiot? He sounds just like Chris Matthews or that other Idiot on MSNBC. Do not get me wrong, I am not a Racist. These tea rallies are for real change. Not just empty words coming out of some ones mouth. We do need to overhaul our political system. Our elected officials are not out there for you or me. They are out there for themselves. Taking bribes, oh I'm sorry I mean they are taking money from big corporations for favors. If we did it, it would be a bribe, but our elected officials do it everyday. And some how it is legal. We do need a change I do not carewhat color the person is. We just need them to get this train back on track. Because it has derailed. We need good honest people biulding us a new railroad, with a good honest engineer. Come on people be honest with yourself. We have not gotten the change we were promised! We need to make this Our Country again, Are they not supposed to work for us.I turn on the TV and see the people at these tea parties and I have to say, I people from all walk's of life. Be it young old, Black ,White, Asian and Hispanic. People want there voice to be heard. And they want to be represented by there Elected Official. But it is just not happening. I think the Tea Parties are a good thing. At least now we have there attention. Hopfully it will do some good?
