Blotter O' The Week:
A couple who allegedly tried to skip out on a restaurant bill were later apprehended at the Festival of Lights — in a church bus.

Act of God O' The Week:
A man reported that his work truck was "struck by a telephone pole."

A bar fight ended with an arrest when a husband took on a Lothario who was trying to dance with his wife. Lets's hope Santa kept his hands to himself this year.

A fire truck pulled over a man for driving erratically. He was later charged by police with DUI, proving that when it comes to alleged drunk drivers, any lights and siren will do.

Famous Last Words O' The Week:
The manager slid the money bag under the ice machine "so that only he knew where it was."

The Blotter is taken from City of Charleston police department reports. We've added a cartoon and a little commentary. We've added a little humor, too. No one has been found guilty. This is not a court of law.
