BLOTTER O' THE WEEK:

It was a happy Valentine's Day at a Hollywood fast food restaurant when a customer and a manager got into an argument about the quality of service the woman had received. The woman asked for a refund and when the manager returned with the money, a quick scuffle ensued, during which the manager received a cut on her nose and a blow to the back of the head. No word on whether she was "lovin' it."

A woman entered a West Ashley gas station on Feb. 14 and handed the cashier money for some lottery tickets. The man behind the counter said he only had one ticket left, and the woman became irate. She insisted that they had more tickets, snatched her money back, struck the cashier's hand, and ran out of the store. And sadly, the state lost a few more dollars that could have gone to education.

On Feb. 15, cops pulled over a Nissan truck for having a license plate frame. While talking with the driver, the officer discovered a bowl and a bag of pot in the truck's center console. While in custody for possession of marijuana, the man spontaneously said, "I only smoke the finest stuff, man." Apparently he thought he'd found himself backstage at a Snoop Dogg show.

Blotter Threat O' The Week:

"I'll come and find you and kill you in Charleston."

A downtown man received threatening text messages from his girl's ex on Feb. 14. The messages read, "Sucks to be you, always running to hide, think you can hide from us tonight? We'll be right over your shoulder the whole time, behind u on the street, in the car..." and "Behind you now, just be sure you fuck her hard so we can get good shots on camera to post on the net." The real crime here isn't the lame threats, but the improper punctuation.

The Blotter is taken from City of Charleston police department reports. We've added a cartoon and a little commentary. We've added a little humor, too. No one has been found guilty. This is not a court of law.
