BLOTTER

The Blotter is taken from City of Charleston police department reports. We've added a cartoon and a little commentary. We've added a little humor, too. No one has been found guilty. This is not a court of law.

Blotter Overheard Jailhouse Cop Quote O’The Week:
"What are these pretty little girls doing here in cuffs?"

Eighty-five dollars in cash was stolen on Nov. 14 from a "home essence" kiosk located inside a West Ashley mall. Please contact police if you come across any currency that smells like sandalwood, patchouli, or nag champa.

Blotter 12-Year-Old Quote O’The Week:
"You lucky I didn't slap you face," said by a student to his teacher after she took away his cell phone in class. That boy's got the "un" plan -- as in "unlikely to avoid prison."

Police arrested a 19-year-old high school student last week after he was seen twirling a razor inside his mouth. And he made it all the way to high school?!

Blotter Answering Machine Message O’The Week:
"It's no wonder your goddamn son committed suicide. Goodbye. Bitch."

Blotter Misspellings O’The Week:
"[T]atoos" and "cheast." To make it even better, these were pulled from the same sentence in the same report.
