Goin' to the Chapel

With the warm summer months quickly approaching, we can already hear the wedding bells. Of course, not everyone may be so ready for that kind of commitment. Luckily, we have the Big Fake Wedding event —and it’s exactly what it sounds like. Decked out in full flare with a vow renewal ceremony from an already married couple as well as a killer reception, The Big Fake Wedding (formerly The NotWedding) is a highly popular alternative to a bridal show. With an assortment of select vendors showcasing their services just like at a real wedding, guests — entourage and all — can enjoy drinking and dancing whilst scarfing down plenty of delectable food and desserts. For brides and grooms-to-be, the event works to give them an opportunity to look at vendors while gaining insight for their own marriages. “Our goals [include] giving brides and grooms the chances to experience services and inspiring brides and grooms to have long, committed marriages,” says LaBruce Trammell, Marketing Director for the Big Fake Wedding. You heard it here first, now grab your crew and make sure you look sharp
