Don't bring the kids. First off, improv comedy is for adults because sometimes the F-word is the best word for the job. And sometimes improvisers are going to get themselves into a tricky situation, one where sex with a donkey might be the only way out.

The hook. This triple bill features three groups that approach comedy in very different ways. Big Dicktionary is just two guys and a big book. They pick a word out of it and go from there. Doppelganger is a musical improv show that starts with two guys and a guitar and builds an episode of

VH1 Storytellers right before your eyes. Cats Hugging Cats, a five-person improv troupe, prides itself on being unpredictable, so who knows what the fuck will happen at that show. The only way to find out is to show up.

Local improv stars. These troupes include many local comedy stars like Greg Tavares, Lee Lewis, Jason Groce, and Andy Livengood. So you know it'll be good.
