Best Tequila Buzz on a Work Night

Voodoo Tiki Bar and Lounge

Staff Pick

Don't get Voodoo owner Jen Kulick started on Jose Cuervo. She's a bona fide tequila nut, but you won't find her sipping anything short of 100 percent blue agave. Cuervo still makes the good stuff, but they're more well known for their 51 percent agave, 49 percent molasses blend that rots guts worldwide. You won't find it at Voodoo. Instead, the bartender will steer you to a fine, inexpensive yet unadulterated variety like Milagro. Or just splurge on a Don Julio 1942 Anejo and never think about tequila the same way again.
