Best Restaurant We Wish Would Stop Changing Their Concept

Oh, Biggie's. You were so good while you lasted. Wagener Terrace-area residents were so excited when the long-empty Granville's reopened with a new concept, and the restaurant quickly proved itself with a tasty, affordable menu, killer cocktails, and special events like Meatloaf Mondays and paella parties in the parking lot. City Paper's food reviewer gave it a glowing nod of approval, but apparently the restaurant wasn't getting quite enough business, because they changed their format. Again. Head bartender Brent Sweatman recently took his leave, and according to the restaurant's Facebook page, they're going back to their original concept of a gourmet grocery. We'd like nothing more than to see this business to succeed, but Biggie's didn't even stick it out a year. We don't think we'll be getting our hopes up for this latest incarnation to last either.
