Cone 10 Studios

Staff Pick

Pottery studio Cone 10 squeezed into a little space on Meeting Street for years before expanding in 2010. The location was in a prime area downtown with frequent foot traffic from locals and tourists, but the studio members were practically falling over each other in the cramped workspace. The owners moved up the peninsula to the East Central neighborhood, City Paper's stomping grounds. The neighborhood is full of large, relatively cheap industrial spaces, and Cone 10 was able to greatly expand their operations and welcome new potters and sculptors to the community.
