I tend to agree with Oscar Wilde when it comes to clubs. I don’t want to belong to any that would accept me as a member. With the exception of one: Seanachai. Handing over the $20 that allowed me to join this bar was the best decision I made last summer. No other bar in the Lowcountry is as friendly. You walk in and owner Gerry Kieran shakes your hand, bartender Adam takes your order, and a patron invites you to play cornhole on the patio. Add to that great music multiple nights a week, and you’ve got the best little clubhouse on Johns Island. —Kinsey Gidick
