The downtown Santi's serves a terrific pork stew lunch special called Guisado de Puerco with a mild but flavorful tomatillo sauce. Whether over rice or scooped into hot flour or corn tortillas, the marinated, slow-cooked pork practically melts with every bite. There's some spiciness going on, but the green sauce complements the meat more than it dominates. It's a big bargain at a mere eight bucks with rice and beans on the side.
