Best Place for Beer Geeks to Geek Out

Brewvival

Staff Pick

If you tried to strike up a conversation at a local bar with a stranger on a nearby barstool about the citrus hoppiness, fruity bouquet, caramel sweetness, or farmhouse aromas of a beer, you might get politely shunned — or even escorted out of the place. But in the short lines in the beer tents at the annual Brewvival festival hosted by COAST and Charleston Beer Exchange in Noisette, nerdy banter about the condition, flavors, aromas, and yeast characteristics of craft beer is common. The beer geek next to you might be a weirdo, but you certainly have the enthusiasm and support for the beverage in common.
