In a world-famous town like Charleston, we can appreciate a good dive bar that hasn’t been discovered by the tourists and Guy Fieris of this world. There’s no sign to give you any hints about where it is on King Street, and you’ve got to walk down a creepy alley and up some stairs. But once you’re inside, swilling cheap beers and embarrassing yourself with an off-key rendition of “I’ve Got Friends in Low Places,” you know you’re home.
