Best High-Tech Wine Tap Station

Wine Awhile

Staff Pick

Wine lovers in the northern reaches of Mt. Pleasant consider this neat little wine and beer retailer to be a local gem. Owners Anthony and Rebecca Pugh and their staff offer fine domestic and imported wine by the glass, bottle, and case. They serve 24 varieties by the glass mostly from a wine station designed and manufactured by Napa Technology. Each mini-station holds up to four bottles of wine and can dispense a single glass with a touch of a button. Used in combination with an inert gas, it's a great wine preservation and dispensing system that keeps the flavor, bouquet, and complexity of the wine intact.
