We first got a taste of this dessert at the Lowcountry Field Feast at Keegan-Filion Farm last fall. Everyone raved at its simple, smoky flavors in Chef Mike Lata’s interpretation of sticky toffee pudding, a traditional British dessert that can’t taste anywhere near as good as this, and comes infused with several layers of walnut flavor. Not too sweet and without a hint of chocolate, this dessert succeeded in being the perfect finish to a meal.
