Best Bar that Really Isn't a Bar

The Hump Bar

If you've ever driven up Spruill Avenue, you've seen it: the Hump Bar. It's a nice-enough-looking place with a honky-tonk-meets-video-poker-palace vibe. Heck, you may have even searched for the joint on the City Paper website's location guide (plug, plug, plug). Sadly, the Hump Bar is not what it looks like. In fact, it's just a shooting location for Army Wives. Oh well. Here's hoping when Army Wives finally leaves town — and we hope that doesn't happen anytime soon — somebody will have the good enough sense to turn the place into an actual bar. The outside's already been taken care of, so you won't have to worry about that.
