Re: “FEATURE ‌ War of the Steaks, Part Two

Ok, My wife calls me crazy (shes from texas). When i go to a place that claims to be from philly I put them to the test I ask them a few questions, like who is Jim o brian. and how did he die. What is a wawa.If they can answer these questions at least i know they are from philly. Well Phillys passes the test in more than one way. This is the best cheesesteak. hands down. All you have to do is taste the meat true philly style. I look forward to try every new place that comes around,it's like a hobby to me.All you have to do is put them side by side and there is no contest. If i want a dry steak like the others i will buy steak ums from the supermarket. Plus they have the best meatball sandwiches and lasagna too.

Re: “DB's Cheesesteaks, Burgers, & Fries

The search is ongoing for the best Philly. Being from South Philly, I worship the sandwich. DB' not bad, But the best is a little place in Summerville called Phillys, The real deal, Its just hard to get too sometimes. But once you get there you will inderstand why the place is packed. And i mean packed there are times when i have too wait almost an hour (and worth the wait) So far no one has this place beat, and i tried them all. I think they have just the one location off dorchester and ladson. There are other places with philly in the name but not the same.Trust me on this one its worth the trouble. If you are from philly you will know what I mean.
