Re: “Black Bean Co.

Great food, but definitely not for the cost conscious.

Re: “Street performers banned from collecting tips in popular tourist spot

A young woman complained that someone was rude to her!? On Market Street!? Thank goodness the sheriff was there to come to Ms. Ohara's rescue (faint), and save us all from men and women sharing their music with us while trying to make some kind of a living!

Re: “Carolina One Blood Fest w/ Junior Reid

Wait a minute...A Junior Reid show is being held at the STONEWALL-JASPER LODGE?? Thats the only venue they could find to hold this show? Not slammin the lodge, but its not the place for a concert.

And you want $25 for "general admission??" Maybe I wouldnt take issue with this if it was a better venue.. And what the helk is VIP about a show held at the STONEWALL Jackson LODGE? Do you have to pay for parking too?? I love the reggae music, but..

You can't just enjoy reggae music in Charleston thanks to some promoters. Their steady looking for a way to dig in your pockets, from these whack venues, paying for parking, to "VIP" admission. Whose going to reggae shows for bottomless liquor, mimosas, catered food, and valets? What else makes a show VIP? Seating? Whose sitting at a reggae show? I must not have that VIP mentality.
