Re: “Grumpy fashionistas suffer from champagne separation anxiety

I do take full responsibility for the 20 minute intermission lull - this was my first ever organized fashion show and no matter what kinks there were - I fully enjoyed every minute of doing it. The venue was wonderul, the models so great to work with - and the designers - what more can I say - so brilliant! I am honored to have worked with the 6 designers that were involved in my show. I thought I had planned accordingly for the intermission - but there were some issues backstage and in light of making excuses - I WILL be prepared next time. I appreciate everyone's hard work - and all the great friendships that I have made. I want to continue to grow in the Charleston fashion community. Gervase - thanks for your honest words (even though hard to swallow) - when first reading them - it felt like a slap in the face with all the hard work I had done for the past 4 months - but I do understand you were only doing your job.
I will note all critiques on this show and it will only make me better the next time around.

Sure - Julia Faye Davison showed a couple of long dresses with low backs - I think her show is who you were referring too - Mamie Ruth Designs also had 1 long flowing dress but it was one-shouldered and did not have a low back.

Just wanted to clarify that the Tisdale + Verona show did not have any "dresses that swept the floor" - think you got your show confused. Also 160 tickets were sold at the door alone - so I know there were way more than "a little over" 200 people there. the turnout was amazing and all the designers were amazing
