Re: “Local groups respond to President Trump’s call to ban transgender military personnel

Tupper you're way too much drama.
You really have no clue what the subject is even about, so go have your snowflake meltdown somewhere else. Learn up on all the medical conditions that are disallowed by the military before your next attempt to babble on about chicken pox and cancer. Transgender is a mental disease, the physical transformation is the treatment to cure it. Some, not all, transgender people are not interested in signing up for the military to serve our country they're interested so that they can have their gender transformation surgery and not have to pay for it. Hence the joke about the liposuction, so lighten up Francis!

Re: “Local groups respond to President Trump’s call to ban transgender military personnel

Mr Waters, had you included the below information in this article it would have been a more fair and accurate story:

" Former Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced June 30, 2016, that all transgender troops would be able to serve openly effective immediately. Some transgender troops who are serving openly speak out as advocates for a more inclusive policy for all."

But you stir the emotional pot of today's political rhetoric, you chose to leave that out. So I chose to comment to make your readers aware that for 7 1/2 years of the Obama presidency, this ban was still in place. It was just one year ago that Obama lifted the restriction for those that are already in the military, and nothing was said by Trump to kick out those who are already a part of the military. This has been on the Trump campaign agenda, and comes as a surprise to few and a relief to many. The topic is not disgracing a transgender military soldier, but handling a medical condition, which is one of many, that the military will not allow.

I'm a skinny girl trapped in a fat girls body , but I'm not joining the Army so I can have liposuction at the tax payers expense.
