The other side of health from the "primal" perspective is exercise. One of the few times I've clicked on an internet ad was for one that promised "strength training without weights." It led me to Combat Conditioning and the notion that brief, intense, whole-body workouts do more for your general health and strength than marathons or other aerobics. This also goes back, supposedly, to "cavemen", or (closer to home) to wild ainmals, many of whom must run or climb for their lives daily, and are thus stronger and fitter than people. I have seen better results from the 15-20 minutes I exercise daily than I did when I was lifting weights and running in college (and I've been out of college for close to three decades now).
