And something I've really noticed...people aren't nice anymore. I got yelled at in Whole Foods parking lot b/c I was walking my dog through the lot and someone was trying to back out...and this was during the tail end of Joaquin. Nobody should be yelling here. How much road rage, horns and middle fingers do you see and hear now? So much for a mannerly city.

One other thing...that parking garage on Shem Creek is a travesty and is completely out of character of the creek. That area should be sacred.

I don't know what the answer is...I can see something in all angles, but the one thing that's certain is that Mt. P. pretty much looks like anywhere else in the USA now. Concrete everywhere, few local stores b/c it's all big box (who can afford the rents?) and traffic! It's sad.
