Re: “Heavy Metal or Hate?

this makes absolutely no sense. i don't see how you can even compare the concert to tea parties. it would be like saying just because a surfboard is red apples are tasty. valiant thorr talked about rocking their whole set. at least during the chunk of the set i saw. i've seen between the buried and me 16 or 17 times now. they are not, nor have they ever been racist, elitist, or any other form of arrogance this article/author wants to throw at them. they are amazingly nice guys that always have and always will welcome anyone to their shows and talk to anyone that tries to talk to them, no matter their color, orientation, sex, or beliefs.

i can't speak for the other two bands, but i know what has been said about between the buried and me here is complete slander. judging by each of the members' character, however, i can honestly say i doubt they would play with anyone that promotes any sort of idea claiming one "race" is better than the others. between the buried and me always have and always will "bring the mosh," if you will, which means that they get the crowd amped up and kids run into each other, "dance," jump up and down or whatever else that they do, that's just what happens at a hardcore or metal show. nothing about this concert has anything to do with any bit of what it has been connected to.

this is a very misinformed, ill-formed, slanderous article by someone that appears to be a moron. this is the kind of muck that promotes closed minded thinking and blatantly pigeonholes people like the author into a category of people that have no intelligence to use actual fact to fuel their opinions so they have to take things completely out of context. like i stated when i opened, this is like saying just because a surfboard is red apples are tasty. the topics of the tea parties, white supremacy, and angry music may be similar in the sense that both a red surfboard and apples are red, but they are completely different. people like this author and articles like this one are what proves americans are self-righteous, arrogant morons, for the most part. this is why people in other countries hate us. this is proof that people need to be educated.
