Saying kids should not be in restaurants that serve alcohol is ludicrous. Practically all sit down restaurants serve at least beer and wine. Even Chuck-E-Cheeses that is unarguably geared toward to children serves beer (listed on their online menu if you don't believe me). Society is made up of people of all ages and you are just going to have to deal with that if you want to go out in public. I am not saying that there aren't places where children don't belong but I think your expectations are totally unrealistic. (And P.S. - even parents can use designated drivers)
