Re: “Gerrymandering "installation art" set for Statehouse steps on Jan. 14

Gerrymandering is one of the reasons we've got one of the most chaotic White House in the history of this nation. It's also the reason that our state is having gentrification taking place in major urban areas and poverty happening in the rule areas of South Carolina.

Re: “Casual Italian menu coming with Gale Restaurant's February opening on Meeting Street

I'm not sure where exactly did I acquired the taste for Italian restaurants but I've been to several of them around town and I must check out this one.

Re: “Fake news and the miseducation of Dylann Roof

I'll have to agree with this article completely. Dylan Roof, no doubt has been miseducated, as well as under educated, but it doesn't excuse his actions. Information is like a two edge sword, and we now have an abundance of it. Some information is good and some is not. Each and everyone of us have to selectively learn to choose, from our sorce of information wisely.

Re: “Shooting survivor, first responder take stand in Dylann Roof trial

Roof is not worth any of the tax payers money to have a trial nor to keep incarcerated. He should executed by a firering squad. Then maybe put in a pine box, and buried in a landfill. By the way I'd attend both his execution and funeral to make sure that it actually happened.

Re: “Judge declares mistrial in case of Michael Slager

This story is what it is, that is Michael Slager became a bad cop, when he shot Walter Scott hitting him five times. It's obvious that one particular juror has a problem with that, being the case. In this case evidence against Slager isn't circumstantial, anyone that saw the video, saw that Scott was running from Slager not towards him.

All cops such as Slager take an oath to serve and protect. The day that Slager drew his weapon and fired eight times at Scott he wasn't at all living up to that oath.

Cops have to be held accountable for their actions, above all law abiding citizens. Slager has been charged, now he needs to be convicted.
