Re: “Shem Creek Bar and Grill

"This seafood restaurant boasts two bar areas — an inside bar shaped like the bow of a boat with three beers on tap, and an oyster bar toward the back, decorated with fishing gear."

Actually, it has three bars. The third is the only dock bar on Shem Creek (as in, it's built on pilings over the creek).

This place has been in business in 1982. The food is good, including the steaks, but service can be a inconsistent.

Re: “Everyone you ever loved or cared about is now in real estate

Clever, well-written.

I've sold three properties here, all "FSBO." Real estate agent friends react like "wow, you REALLY dodged some bullets there, don't try it again without using an agent, your luck will run out and..." something really bad will happen though they never mention what.

Re: “If your grandfather fought Nazis like mine did, now is the time to speak up

The logical construct of the left is simple, clear and very stupid:

a. Nazis are bad.
b. Since Nazis are bad, use of violence against Nazis is good. The principle of freedom of speech also shouldn't apply to Nazis.
c. Anyone that disagrees with me is obviously a Nazi.
d. Therefore anyone that disagrees with me should be attacked and silenced and if you don't believe that then refer to item 'c'

I want to know how tall that blue fence was that surrounded the stage and protected the Democrats from the Democrats?

Re: “Why we're switching to Facebook-verified member accounts

The summary of what happened at the P&C website is accurate. I expect more or less the same here.

The comments section at CCP is my favorite part also, and the main reason for that is the anonymity. People say what they really think. There are some mean-spirited and lower-intelligence people who can't discuss things without resulting to personal insults, it's true - but for the most part it's lively and informative and civil.

When someone can do an internet search in a second and find out where I live (Chas County Property Records), where I work (LinkedIn, a must in my job role), etc - no thanks. Too many nutjobs out there and I value privacy as much as possible.

Also, y'all might find out that I actually dropped out The Citadel 1 hour and 14 minutes into my knob year in Aug 1991, thus failing to actually become a member of the The Citadel c/o 1995, and then, even worse, went to the College of Charleston. Such shame would be unbearable, as I am sure you can understand!

Edit - and yet here we are, still commenting as before with our nefarious usernames...?
