Re: “Halls Chophouse

I don't know where the other people on this thread have been eating but I have never had a bad meal, bad service or experience at Hall's. Maybe they aren't used to knowledgeable servers who are attentive without being intrusive (anywhere else mail you a thank you note afterwards?), or owners who greet and try to take care of their guests like it was their home (3 deep at the bar but Billy finds me a barstool). Walked in on a average Sat night & we were seated within 5 mins at the community table. I'm no one special other than I appreciate the best steak Ive ever tasted, fantastic side dishes (lobster mac & the chopped salad!) & the first class service. It gets loud but there's nowhere that doesn't anymore as people seem to have forgotten their inside voices. Yes, it's pricey but we've never left feeling we paid too much for the quality we received. Go to Ruths Chris if you don't like it and free up a table for those who appreciate this gem.

Add some Mexican Cake to that 6pk and we'll get whatever we ask for!

Re: “Trump calls Charleston native Stephen Colbert "a low life" during Columbia rally for McMaster

Coming from a serial adulterer, corrupt con artist and lying, inept, prejudiced excuse of a politician, that really means so much.

Re: “Bill Murray, Brad Creger, and Mike Veeck's Food Truck-O-Rama expected to open this summer

I have been excited about the project since hearing about it more than a year ago. Can't wait to see how it operates. The variety of food trucks here in Charleston should keep it interesting.

Re: “DHEC to amend proposed abortion clinic regulations included in error

It is my constitutional right to decide if I want/need an abortion with my doctor and whomever I choose, not some GOB gynotician, science-denying fundamentalist or anyone else. My body, my right, my personal decision. This continuous attack on women's health decisions by regressives imposing their personal religion on others, keeping women barefoot & pregnant, is another illustration of their perceived notion we aren't intelligent enough to make our own decisions.
