Re: “Salty Waters Rawbar and Grill

No need to shuck oysters...Take it from a coastal bum who grew up eating seafood, fishing, and crabbing, and lived on the coast all my life! You eat Fried Oysters! Yes, these are the best by far way to eat an oyster if the cooks know how to cook them and they are not all breaded. Salty Waters has some delicious Fried Oysters, and you don't need to shuck them or eat them raw , which is nasty! I will never eat raw seafood in my life. You can't beat fried oysters, clams strips, and fish (salt water fish only). Stop arguing about shucking oysters and eat them the right way , fried!

Re: “USC Upstate closes gender studies center that booked lesbian play

I am glad they closed. We don't need anymore homosexual plays or books after that trash was at CofC. I am glad CofC lost money too for having that book of garbage and lesbianism. Congrats to the senators for standing up for tradition and values!

Re: “Skinful Halloween, Plan F: Return to the Brick House Kitchen

It's obvious that nobody wants this Skinful party to take place. They have been refused all over Charleston County. I have been here through years of this Skinful event and never attended a one of them. I think it is garbage and a waste of a night. It's a shame that the Brickhouse kitchen supports it, and it is plain dumb to have people wearing headphones to try to keep it quiet after 11 pm. I can't believe they are going to have it again at the same location where sadly, somebody was killed. It is a dangerous event.

Re: “Why does the government continue to promote biking?

I agree with this article by Tara 100%. I like riding my bike to the beach and different places by the coast, but there I some places I would never ride my bike. People have to have some common sense, and I see people riding down Riverland Drive on James Island, and riding down Folly Rd at night, or 17 at night. This is plain foolish. Bike riding on the JI Connector is against the law , dangerous , and foolish. You would not ride your bike on a road where the speed limit is 55mph and people are doing 70. You haters need to stop smokin the pipe and realize Tara is stating the facts and common sense.
If you people want to ride to work, you may not be able to because of safety. Take the bus or carpool.
If you want to ride for exercise just ride in a safe place so you are not hit or killed.
