Re: “The Park Cafe

I've been to Park Cafe twice. Pretentious, overpriced and blah food. The restrooms are labeled "WC" like we're in England. I've had the smoked chicken salad and the honey poached turkey sandwiches. Both were fresh and well put together, but just lacking any kind of flavor punch for the price. I prefer the sandwiches at Ted's butcherblock and Sunrise bistro express.

Re: “Ms. Rose's now serving meatloaf to hungry W.A. diners

Best Butternut squash soup I've ever had. Fried Chicken biscuit was greasy and delicious. Vegetable pasta was ok, I wouldn't order it again. Service was good.

Re: “West Ashley Jack's transforms into MEX 1

The food I tried was bland. I tried the chicken taco and the Baja fish taco. Both were bland compared to Taco Boy. My friend had the Grilled Mahi taco and the Carne Asada taco. He agreed that the food needed more punch. The service was great and I liked the surf videos. Won't be back anytime soon.

I tried the new downtown location and have to agree with "yournamehere" average food with a kitschy atmosphere. No happy hour specials. I had the "Cadillac" margarita, which for $7 was rather "poco". Freakin Chili's gives you a bigger and better margarita for that kind of dough. And I'd be hard pressed to say it had any of the grand marnier in it they claim it is topped with. I did like the big chunks of avocado in the guacamole.

Re: “Charleston's sexiest bartender

Since you still don't have Shannon from Torch, I'm going to have to go with Danielle Foxworth.

Re: “RESTAURANT REVIEW: Three Little Birds Café

I had the crabcake sandwich with a side of mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. The best crabcake I've had in a while.
