I've lived here less than three years, and I wish it was more integrated in terms of neighborhoods, but one thing I love seeing is how freely people of all races mix on the beaches here. It's a really friendly vibe and people seem really relaxed.

By 2008, Dean & DeLuca was a shadow of its former self. The entire concept had been watered down, the staff less than stellar, the selection pretty generic. When the art world moved from SOHO, that Dean & DeLuca seemed to have given up. If that blew you away, you are a positive person. More power to you.
