Re: “Hard-fought plastics bans roll out across Charleston area

it may seem like a small thing, these plastic bans, but it makes us all a little more conscientious and maybe you'll remember your re-usable bags more.

Re: “Closings and cancellations in Charleston due to Hurricane Dorian

Good luck out there folks! And when things do get back to normal consider your local businesses and that they have lost a good deal of revenue due to these evacuations.

Re: “Perception is not the reality for housing in Mt. Pleasant

Show me that $1200/month two bedroom in Mt. Pleasant! Pay has not kept up with the cost of living by any stretch. And one should not be expected to have to have a two income household to pay rent. I have roommates and it still more than a 1/3rd of my income to have a safe place to live.

Re: “After being banned from new Charleston restaurant, P&C's Hanna Raskin reflects on a food scene that is "about to hit adolescence"

Being a 'critic' of anything will certainly not make you any friends. But in the world of participation ribbons, it's hard to accept that maybe you're not number one just because you showed up on the field. I have certainly disagreed with Ms. Raskin's reviews, but I've also seen where they were spot on. Don't you go to movies that the critics gave a thumbs down to?? They are judging at a different level than most of us are. Having said that, it's true that a city our size with as many restaurants as we have, deserves more than one voice.

Re: “Mario's Peruvian Chicken is set to open this month in Mt. Pleasant, and it's all about authenticity

Ditto all above comments about Cheesecake lady... Excited about Peruvian chicken--had some recently in Charlotte and it was fantastic! Where is the restaurant opening?
