Re: “Saving Veronica

As every court that has ruled on the case, Dusten Brown did not terminate his parental rights, inadmissible text message or not. This is clearly delineated in not only the court decisions, but the fact that Christine Maldonado and the Capobiancos both testified that they knew Dusten Brown would not approve of adoption of his child. And it is further supported by the fact that Dusten Browns parental rights were not terminated until Judge Martin, who ignored the SCOTUS ruling in that he didn't apply ICWA as required or complete a best interests hearing for Veronica, did so in finalizing the adoption a few months ago. The best question is, what would Veronica find acceptable? Because I don't think she will care about whatever legal technicalities took her away from her father, as Baby Jessica did not with her mother. The Capobiancos don't give a shit about this child...she didn't need saving from anything except their desperate desire for a child. A grave injustice has been committed against this poor child and all you can think about is how happy the Capobiancos must be? You explain to Veronica why she taken from the father she loves to be given to an older, infertile, turned-down for public adoption, potentially alcoholic (Mel C testified to two significant alcohol-related arrests) couple that have dressed the poor child up in a racist outfit (please see Matt C's Facebook page, if still available) and who have vilified her father and are setting out to ruin his life. It simply isn't explainable outside the confines of the corrupted US (and particularly South Carolina) adoption industry that treats children like chattel. Shame on you.
