Re: “The terrible, horrible, no-good truth about Marcus Lattimore Day

What a short sighted interpretation of the whole situation. As a Carolina graduate and huge football fan, I think I am not alone in saying that this has nothing to do with wins or losses this season. Marcus Lattimore represents alot more for me than SEC or National Championship contention. I was in school back in the Blake Mitchell days when every Saturday we were hopeful, often disappointed, but forever loving USC and knowing it only to be the best 4 years of my life - largely in part to the football experience. Marcus Lattimore could have gone anywhere, but he chose Carolina...thats why we love him. Lattimore, Alshon Jeffrey, Steve Spurrier.......all big names who finally saw what we knew all along - that South Carolina is one of the best schools in the country. For me, its about the chance Marcus took on USC, the gratitude we want to show him for taking that chance and giving us the platform to show the whole country how great USC is by taking our football program to the next level.

And for the record, I grew up ACC and nothing - not even Clemson - compares to this.
