Re: “Newly opened Angel Oak Restaurant another PGA option

Like I've been saying since moving to Charleston from up north- full of phoney-friendly, bible thumping hippocrites. Nice to your face - calling you damn yankee behind your back or to your face to your face if they are a total redneck. I do not and will not take responsibility for a war that has been over for a very long time. South Carolina residents and politicians alike REFUSE to move on. Case in point - CONFEDERATE Memorial Day, Emanciation Day. Civil War re-enactments. No matter how many times you folks to it over, the outcome is the same. Your general wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Let everyone - black and white live in harmony. Move on. Get over it. I'm sick to death of ya'll attitudes toward anyone who wasn't born and raised here. I've lived up north for 50+ years. We would have visitors from all over the world and even from little old South Carolina. They the 'rebels' would come up and not once did I ever hear a northerner be so rude as to call that 'rebel' a rebel - to his face or behind his back. You tell me who is the rudest of them all? The REBELS that's who! I say this now because before I moved to the south, I wasn't prejudiced. After being in the Charleston area for eight years, I moved farther south, where everyone accepts everyone else - no matter where they are from AND, A N D - I do not have to listen to any of the phony 'ya'll come back now hear'.
As far as Chef Jay and Nicole - for your location, etc - lunch price will be a little too pricey. Between bad food and prices too high, that's what pushed the last little taco place out. But I wish you the best of luck in your adventure and in being accepted in the totally biased, bigoted, prejudiced, bible thumping area.
