@chris. The right to free speech and assembly is protected. You are right the Constitution does protect these rights and that Congress cannot make laws to forbidding such. Here is the problem. When someone "Protesters or Occupiers" interfere with others rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness that is where the problem occurs. So why the Constitutional view is correct there is also a flip side. Besides that you have the "Right to Free Speech" but be prepared to suffer the consequences when it interferes with someone’s other rights.
