This law is fundamentally unjust because it specifically targets students. If the law were, nothing can be ridden on a street besides a vehicle, it might pass; however many adults who complain about skateboarding on city streets, enjoy leisurely rides on their bicycles, and many more require them as their means to get to and from work. That is how I use my longboard skateboard; to get to and from classes and work. Like it was previously stated, "College of Charleston students have the money to pay, are easy targets and the City knows it. That's fact."
