Re: “Eat This Tonight: corned beef and cabbage

So what's happening on Paddy's Day?? It is the 17th after all! Oh and it's boiled bacon (a cheaper cut of ham) and cabbage NOT boiled corned beef on the day if you are Irish.

Re: “Best Indication that College Kids Have Way Too Much Time on Their Hands

Really people, this is so easy to resolve. The Quidditch haters have never attended a game and should. How can they give an opinion on something they haven't experienced? Go to the next game guys and cheer the players on! Be nice!

Re: “Best Indication that College Kids Have Way Too Much Time on Their Hands

I for one have been to a Quidditch game and really enjoyed it! I'm Irish, 54 years old, female and not a sport's fan. I hate football because of all the padding, helmets and falling down etc. and I'm afraid B Ball leaves me yawning and golf is just a good walk spoiled. So imagine my surprise when I found myself cheering for a snitch! Be fair, kind and open minded Chris, didn't your mother ever teach you that? Maybe you were too engrossed in your virtual Dungeons and Dragons world to hear her. I think you should take a break from your bitter drivel and go get some broom splinters in your aaa...I mean, hands. I know the team would welcome you if you were to try it! Think of it as embedded journalism! Be a sport and accept the challenge. Love, your mom.
