Re: “Joe Wilson: Gay discharges insignificant

Maybe, just maybe Joe Wilson has reviewed actual DoD reports that the SLDN would rather be hidden. These are the reports which not only cites the numbers of DADT discharges but also the time frames and percentages of gays [claim to be gay] who out themselves. 90% of DADT discharges are within the 1.5 years of service including 20% while in basic. 83% of all DADT discharges are of individuals who outed themselves. So the truth, not propaganda, is that a vast majority of DADT discharges are of individuals with no to minimal experience who have buyers remorse or are shirking their contractual obligation including using the gay card as a vehicle to avoid deploying. The propagandist can spew whatever they want for the general population to bite on but when rubber meets the road, the decision makers will be presented with facts and that is scary for some.
