Re: “Angry server disses Alex from Stroh's, piss poor tipper

joshl725- First off, learn how to read. Second, learn how to write. I have not worked in F&B myself but I do know many poor souls who have, and they will do those kinds of things to you if they don't like you. So, instead of being a dick and a douche bag right off the bat, try to read my post and realize that I am not the one doing this; the person whom you piss off is doing it. If you have problems reading and/or writing (which by your post it seems that you must) please get help because it must suck to live in America and not be able to spell out words or spell the right words. Try being a little less of a jackass and maybe you just might eat a little less spit. Thanks for your worthless time.

Re: “Angry server disses Alex from Stroh's, piss poor tipper

1fatman- I just have to say, you're the bitch. ALOT of food and bev servers are working their way through college. They go to class from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. then go and work in a restaurant until 2-3 a.m. just so they can pay their bills. ALOT of these college students don't have mommy and daddy to pick up their bills, although it sounds like you did. If you leave a shitty tip the server will remember you, I wonder how many times the servers you have pissed off have intentionally dropped your food and re-plated it or spit on your delicious entree. Be warned, don't piss off those who handle your food. No matter how much my meal was I always tip the server at least $5 dollars, even for a $9 dollar meal. It would seem that you are the one with the piss-poor attitude fat man. Unless the server was terribly rude, took an extremely long time to get your meal to you, was intoxicated (i have had a drunk server), or did something that ruined your experience then you can leave a crappy tip. I have been out and I ordered a quesadilla with no peppers, it came out with the peppers and I asked for another without peppers. The server said I would have to pay for another so I rounded the total up to the nearest dollar and left her about thirty cents. She made the mistake and because she would not correct her mistake it cost her a good tip. Some restaurants even include a non-negotable gratuity in the total, I think this is stupid because they usually would have gotten more out of me if I could have decided their tip. If you see a sour face on your server after he sees how much you left him and you don't like his attitude about it, stop being a cheapo.
