Re: “The president proves he isn't much different from his predecessor

1. It's so easy to sacrifice the lives of those you do not know, or are not the ones you love.
2. If it's to stop genocide, why not the Ivory Coast, Somalia, Rwanda. No money and Black.
3. You never learned a damn thing in history class.
4. You need a legacy.
5.It's what Eisenhower meant when he said the "Military Industrial Complex". It's about Business pushing the economy and being a whore to the Military and vice versa.

Enough, I'm so pissed.

Re: “It's ladies' night at the shooting range

Having been around guns for much of my life, a hunter, retired military and CWP permit holder in 34 states, I do take exception that criminals should have access to guns after serving their time. Statistics show most criminals with violent attributes turn back to crime. Why would any reasonable person want to do any more to put a gun in his or her hand legally? Second, the cost of taking a safety course that introduces you to shooting is not a deterrent to gun ownership considering the cost of a well made gun. You Tube is full of bad examples of people who supposedly know what they are doing getting hurt or allowing others the same. It takes some effort to obtain a drivers license, fly a plane, handle a boat. Handling a gun and carrying one where the intent is to kill someone threatening your life is not for the faint of heart or to be taken lightly.
