Re: “Montreux Bar and Grill

I live in Summerville and have been to Montreux several times. It's ok. The service is ok and the food is ok. I have yet to check out brunch but my friends went and said it was pretty good. It is what it is. A bar with decent drink specials and a good beer list. It's not the best bar I've ever been too but it's not the worst.

Re: “A taste of Bosnia on Dorch Road

My boyfriend and I went there for lunch today and it was so good! The establishment is very clean and the people who own it are very friendly. Our waitress was the wife of the owner and she answered all our questions about items on the menu. I had a ground beef sandwhich and my boyfriend had the lamb shank. The portion sizes were great and the prices were pretty low. I really hope that people will go check them out. We need this restaurant to stick around!

Re: “Local filmmakers caught in the middle of film-fest squabble

I feel like this whole situation has been blown way out of proportion. Why don't we all focus on the films? We now have two great venues to watch and enjoy films that we otherwise wouldn't be able to see. As it is mentioned in the article the two local films that were in limbo are in the end going to be showing at both festivals. Let's focus on celebrating film. Isn't that the whole point of a film festival?

Re: “Messy meals are not cute cuisine

I don't think that it is very fair of people to assume that because you work at a restaurant or any low paying public service job that you don't have or aren't achieving some type of higher education. I have a degree but still cannot find a job. So I work at a movie theater. It pays my bills and I won't complain about that because so many people can't find jobs to begin with. What happened to people being considerate of other people? It's very rude to assume that because I work at a movie theater or a restuarant I have no formal education.

Re: “Tarantino's WW II fantasy Inglourious Basterds is slow, overly broad

Saw it last night at the Hippodrome and WOW! What a kick ass movie. It was paced well and it wasn't nearly as violent as I thought it would be. This movie is classic Tarantino and everyone should go see it!
