Re: “Pollo Loko Peruvian

If you love meat cook on a grill this is the place to eat. the chicken and ribs marinated and seasoned and oh so good. Pollo also has fried plantains cooked brown and caramelized with a little crunch, there is also yucca, tostones, black beans and rice. They serve some latin standards like tacos, quesadillas as well as a spicy/fruity shrimp tropical. I have tried the other things but the big bang is the grilled chicken go ahead and order a whole bird so you can take some home. I have used ,my leftovers in quesadillas, soup, pot pie... I could go on about how great this place is but you should try it yourself. During the day you can watch the latin soap opera's with the local latin population or in the evening's they play salsa music. Don't forget to order a mango drink to wash it all down with! Go Now!!

Re: “Is Hyman's a tourist trap, a beloved classic, or, perhaps, an institution?

Wow, I feel like I owe the place another visit or two. I am guilty of being one of those who, insist that Hymans is a tourist trap and no self respecting local eats there. Thanks for the article. I am going to go soon and hopefully leave with an appreciation for what the place is. I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong. Thanks!

Re: “A taste of Bosnia on Dorch Road

Ok , I have already been back for more. The first round was dinner with the Lamb shank($9.95) and the Kebab, sausage combo with roasted veggie and a creamy tomato sauce. Aromatic meat/carb bliss is all I can say. The lamb shank was like my grandma was in the kitchen. not too much spice, tender, with potatoes and basmati rice, yum. My next trip was lunch and we tried the hummus, garlic and lemoney with that fabulous bread, the cevap and the stuffed hamburger. Much too much, we had to take some home. Next round will be the kebabs and some goulash. I can not wait! Keep you posted.

Re: “Nosh Mobbers took to the Triangle

Go Nosh Mob. We had a blast. The food was fresh as a grass fed cow and the beer pretty darn good too! Can't wait for next month!
