Volunteers Needed for Fall Tours of Homes and Gardens


The Preservation Society of Charleston is seeking individuals interested in historic houses and gardens to help with the Fall Tours of Homes and Gardens. Volunteer positions include house guides, garden guides, street marshals, and ticket office and reservation assistants. Free tour tickets for volunteers.

Trident Literacy Association

Socrates Cafe Charleston

The Socrates Cafe Charleston, facilitated by Trident Technical College instructors, invites everyone to explore the philosophy of life in a casual group dialogue. Meetings are from 6-7 p.m. on the second and fourth Mon. of the month.

The Office of Cultural Affairs and the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Program are administrating the S.C. Arts Commission's Lowcountry Quarterly Arts Grants Program to review applications and award grants for art projects in the tri-county area.

Call for Artists
